Terry Gronbeck-Jones
PARETO PLATFORM CONSULTANT
Terry resides in Ottawa, Ontario, which is Canada’s National Capital. Being from a military family, Terry’s family moved every two years for about the first 15 years of his life. His final posting was Ottawa, where he has resided for almost thirty years.
Terry has two boys of his own now, aged 11 & 9, and considers spending time with them one of the finer things in life.
Terry enjoys playing golf and tennis, and thinks that taking long brisk walks on a regular basis gives one remarkable clarity about life’s problems and opportunities. Terry is an avid reader, and enjoys collecting Antiquarian Children’s books.
Terry is also an avid musicologist and spends perhaps too much time talking about, reading about and acquiring all types of music. Terry’s justification for this ‘obsession’? “It’s the soundtrack to my life” he says, “It has to be good.”
Experience
Although Terry took Broadcasting Radio & TV in college, a chance meeting with Duncan MacPherson back in the early 90s introduced him to the world of Marketing & Business Development, with the clientele being mostly those in the Financial Services Industry. Other than a 3-year stint in the Pro Audio Visual world, Terry has worked with Duncan, and subsequently David Miller as well, since that time. Most of that tenure was spent consulting with Financial Advisors, with an emphasis on helping them implement marketing and business development best practices. To say that Terry loves this line of work would be an understatement.
