Leo Pusateri is president of Pusateri Consulting and Training, LLC, a Buffalo, New York-based sales consulting and training firm. Founded in 1992, the company provides counsel based on the philosophy of competing on value in the financial services industry.

The firm’s own Unique Value Proposition (UVP) empowers organizations and individuals to discover and articulate their unique value. Their client list includes international private wealth consultants, national and regional brokerage firms, mutual fund companies, money management firms, insurance companies, and banks primarily in the US, Canada and the UK, and has also trained in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

With over 29 years of sales and marketing experience, Mr. Pusateri spent a decade as a sales consultant with Learning International—formerly Xerox Learning Systems—where he developed strategies to increase sales productivity for Fortune 500 companies. In 1989, he was named vice president of marketing for Elias Asset Management, an investment advisory firm managing assets for high wealth individuals, pension and profit sharing plans, trusts, endowments, foundations and bank trust departments.
In 2002, Mr. Pusateri formed an alliance with Financial Advisor magazine to provide regular columns for their audience of over 60,000 financial advisors as well as participate in their industry symposiums as a featured speaker.

Published in 2002, Mr. Pusateri’s book, “Mirror Mirror On The Wall Am I The Most Valued of Them All?” helps financial entrepreneurs explore the concept of discovering their value.

Mr. Pusateri received his BBA degree in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University in 1977. He resides in East Amherst, New York with his wife Ann and their four children.
